JKB Buzzwords (and expressions)

Recommended Posts

Posted

Words and terms that get used on here that you never hear (or would use) in 'real life'.

Like: Hobos or Hobbits

         Saying 'This'

         Presser

         Acca

        Calling Hibs 'The Vermin'

Would anyone actually use these, for example, in the pub?

Hobos to describe Hibs fans is something I’ve only ever seen online. Never use it myself.

Many years ago on a previous version of JKB I started a thread hoping for a few laughs pointing out that the spellcheck on my computer changed Hibs to Hobos.
I wonder what ever happened with that?

I call them Vermin, Hobos and or Hobbits everywhere I go. They don't deserve the respect other teams are given.

Tit Monday

Was just discussing the very same with a fellow Jambo at the weekend. Said with the mild weather I fully expect "Tit Monday" to be brought forward this year

I believe it's shorthand for separatists, usually used pejoratively by unionists.
