PortyJambo
I like a cold, dry white. Albarino and Muscadet being my favourites, and dry Riesling. Everyday white though, I go with Pinot Grigio. Absolutely can't stand Sauv Blanc from New Zealand, my wife's favourite, but even getting a sniff of one gives me the boak. I'm ok with Sauv Blanc from other countries funnily enough.
Bigsmak
Been learning a little about wine these last few years. Joined the naked wine club and it's cell. Happy to share a referral code so we both get discounts. Big fan of Chablis white.. right now. And white rioja is nice. Also like red. Really want to taste a proper Bordeaux soon. Everyone races about the good ones. But bloody expensive
martoon
Red, but a maximum of one glass. Tried McGuigans Black Label last night. Ridiculously over fruity. Hate white and rosè. Edited November 20, 2021 by martoon
All roads lead to Gorgie
18 hours ago, Des Lynam said: Red for me! And i'll second the bit in bold. Have you tried a Carmenere? Morrison's used to stock a Carmenere called Root1 which was a cracking red. Sadly they seem to have stopped selling it. I currently love a Malbec called Zarper which comes from Chile, not Argentina as you would expect. I also Like Primitivo from southern Italy which is the same grape as Zinfandel in the USA.
