Sausages.

One of my favourite things.  Strangely enough though, although I cook with herbs most nights, I really don’t like ‘herby’ sausages.

One type I didn’t like which was a bit of a fad a few years ago - Tomato sausages.  :boak:

Their bratwurst are fantastic.  I've not had them for ages, I'll have to put that right.

Some chips and currywurst ketchup with that and your night is made.

If it's the underweight skinny smoke sausage, you need a full one.

Smoke sausage, chips and beans; my Monday night tea every week.

Do you have a set tea for every night?

Just Monday night. Not sure why, probably from a few years ago when I was usually rough on most Mondays, it's a tea to cook that requires no thought.

I remember growing up my mum used to buy big bags of cheap frozen sausages think it was 10,000 for a pound or something,  They were horrid and always managed to be cold in the middle no matter how long they got cremated for . They traumatised me so much I don't touch sausages unless it's in stoavies. They are vile, I would rather eat the dogs food after she's digested it than eat a sausage.

Course you can. All they're doing is opening up a Matteson's and chucking it in the fryer.

May well be nice .... but the food miles must be in the thousands for that !!   You might be able to get them locally if your neck of the woods gets chosen for re-wilding though.:whistling:

You must've worked there at a different time to me (2000/2001).. Good work practices? I saw people picking dropped sausages/bacon  off the dirty concrete floor and putting it back on packing belt.. People continually piling produce too high (wee Willie winky packing station had conveyor belt on top of the station) so they'd fall off time and time again. The IQ level of the people I worked with was not very high. Didn't stop me filling my pockets and freezer with liberated goods though.. 🙄🙄
