If he doesn’t sign up we can sell in January - Moore is more than capable and we can line up another CB for 6 months if needs be.

 

In that respect him getting back into Scotland suits us.

Deserves his Scotland call up and credit to him getting back to that level after his injuries. 👏

 

Will be disappointing to see him leave, if correct what's been posted earlier. Would be good to see this team stick together for a few seasons. Can't really blame him though for looking to earn more money elsewhere, particularly after the amount of time he's lost to injury. Hopefully doesn't end up at either of the uglies!

I heard them talking about a possible call up on off the ball with John Rankin as a guest.   Obviously Rankin said he should be called up but   It wasn't official at that time.   

 

Nice surprise for Souttar I would think.   Congrats to him for his hard work. 

 

I'm the same as others about the timing.    It's typical as we get some form going with a settled back line.   Possible extra gametime, less rest.    I hope Gordon and Soapy come back in good condition.

Well done to the big fella. It’s quite incredible how every time he comes back from each of those injuries he had and looks better every time. Absolutely amazing and a credit to the lad. I hope he signs a new deal with us and plays for us for for many years to come. Who knows what will happen and it’s pointless speculating I suppose. He’s ours just now and let’s enjoy it. There was a few stories in the media about AC Milan being ready with a bid for Hickey in January - that should earn us a fair whack of sell-on if it happens.   If John doesn't sign a new contract by Jan 1st, the next best thing we can do is try to   attract a  decent  bid from outwith the OF and get a good sell-on clause included.  Just like Hickey, as you say.
