Just noticed on Sportscene, that the wee team have installed 2 very large screens. They look really good to be fair.

This is is something our FOH contributions should be paying for.

We must always be better than that mob.

Are their screens taking up seating areas ?  as their attendance today looked pitiful for a team that’s been in the top 4 for 185 years (or whatever) according to Dross.

We are planning to install some, but rightly prioritising on field and 2nd floor stand funding.

additionally we don’t owe back wages, government loans and didn’t lay off staff . You would think that they would consider paying these before installing tellys

Some shiny baubles to distract them from poor home draws and shite recruitment.

Just saw the other day Gordon brought his son in to do "stuff" - that sounds familiar! He does have a bit of the Romanov about him, just less mouthy.

Make sense at a big stadium eg Murrayfield, Emirates etc. Not at Tynecastle. Let those dafties proceed, though. Plenty repeats of last minute equalizers for St Mirren etc

yep, absolutely no Feking chance there was 13,000 at that shithole today. It was embarrassing the gaps between seats. Enjoyable right enough but what a joke they are

Rumour has it they are the big tellies that folk were fighting over at Asda's Black Friday. Blaupunkt efforts. Still rely on scart leads...

Lucky they didn't have them in years gone by. Some of the attempts at goal by McManus and Kujabi would have been a threat to them.

I liked their old scoreboard. Nothing fancy just displayed what you need to know.

Said on radio there was a very good away support too so take that off probably leaves 9000 student and 3000 season holders

I like screens when I've attended North American sports because the stuff on the field is often so boring - whether it's football, proper football or baseball that I like the distraction. Wouldn't want them in Tynecastle. They're like TVs in pubs, they draw your eye away from what's in front of you whether you want to watch them or not. I can get why Hibs fans need them though.

Tbh,  I want screens.

Dunno why, but I want them.

They would pay for themselves through advertising before long I would imagine.

I wonder if Hibs will open advertising up to away team minded companies in the future?    Could be some potential in subtle messages/advertising.

We need to do something like in the film The Departed. Plant an undercover jambo in the Hibs inner circle and at the right moment they access the TV screen control room and put in the 22 in a row DVD, then lock the door to the room.

I wonder if they will focus in on fans like they do at the world cup.

Totally agree.

On a side note, would they be allowed to show replays of things like that strange yellow card against Woodburn?
