I think I'll watch this one tonight sitting in the back garden in the sun with Stella.

Does your back garden have a good view of Forthbank Jonno ?

Might be good idea Mods to put 7.30pm kick off time in thread title.   Sure some may think 7.45.

Just paid ppv and went to home page and at the bottom when I clicked view game it said 7.30pm.

Sorry if some log in too early if that info is not correct and, of course that could be just when coverage starts.

Rather log in too early than miss first 15 mins.

I'm close but not close enough even from Dunblane, danny.

Get yerself up Dumyat with a pair of binoculars, great view of Forthbank from there. 😊  It is a bit frustrating that Hearts are playing so close but we can't go. I'm 12 miles away from you in Callander.

Sure it's 7.45 but as you say, better to be early than late

Been up Dumyat but, sadly, it wasn't the best day weatherwise.

Great views so on a clear day it must be spectacular.

We go to Callander a lot. Walk along the old railway line from there past Loch Lubnaig.

Not been up Ben Ledi yet.....

You should definitely give Ben Ledi a go sometime. I've climbed it often, these days I tend to avoid the "tourist route" as it's so busy, I tend to go from the north east or north west approaches as they're much quieter, and wilder, more rugged. I will, however, descend the tourist route if I'm in a hurry to get down for a pint 🍺. Unfortunately I've not been up since early May as I've been suffering from Sciatica, (not recommended), but I'm gradually getting the fitness back. Unfortunately you can't see Tynecastle from there, though I've seen Arthur's Seat many times.

That's me a Stella sorted for tonight.

4-0 win.

I hope Stella isn’t expecting too much. 🤔

Stream booked.    Looking forward to the game, we do seem to be on the front foot and playing with more pace than last season, with a number of players coming back fitter after pre-season.    Hoping we can build some positive momentum!   3 - 0 is my prediction.

Council-owned complex isn't it? Looks good anyway, nice view too!

It is indeed part of the PEAK which is a gym, swimming pool and the outdoor Astro pitches.

Good see other jambo's here in dunblane 😁

as whodanny says, Ben ledi is a great walk, my 9yr old loves it. the tourist route can get very busy though. there is supposed to be a spitfire crash site on the other route somewhere but never been able to find it (or if there is actually anything left to find)

predictions for tonight - another 3-0

haven't picked up my refreshments yet

CornhillHearts

Just a wee note to say Aaron will be doing a watchalong live stream for the game tonight.

For those who've maybe not seen it, it's just a chat about the game as it's happening, where you can comment on a chat box.

Please note he doesn't actually show the game.

If it's something that takes your fancy you can find the link below and it's goes live at 7.35.

Cheers.

Would have been for my old work at the Springkerse business park. Mind you, only got to see 1/2 the pitch due to the stand.

Hi Gav, the Ben certainly is a great day on the hills, and, although it doesn't make Munro height (by about 117 feet !) it can be pretty serious in winter conditions. I've climbed the hill over 400 times but I've never heard of a spitfire crash site. There was a Cessna which crashed close to the summit in a snowstorm in November 1981, the pilot lost his life. The wreckage was removed by helicopter and members of Killin Mountain Rescue team later that winter. It might be this that people are getting confused about.

Sorry to derail the thread, 'MON THE HEARTS !!!

Is this a PPV game to Albion?

Yes, but it’s a cup tie so the proceeds of the gate and ppv are shared.

10th March 1941, there was a Spitfire accident/crash.

Hungry hippo

I think that is the team we intend to start with against Celtic barring the miracle of any new signings or injuries.

I would say that is pretty much the league starting 11 as things stand, bar McEneff maybe in for someone.

Important game for Peter Haring IMO. Needs to stake his claim, done OK at the tail end of the season but still not seen the real top top Peter Haring we've seen in the past.

Getting that version of Haring back would be like a new signing.
