I usually do as well, I find they look like they're missing something without them (which is horrible, but we've basically been Stockholm Syndromed into accepting their place ) - but they have to be a plain, preferably single colour, sponsor that compliments the top, as plain as possible.  Good sponsors for us in recent years have been Ukio Bankas and Save the Children for this very reason.  They weren't in your face like Wonga was, and they blended nicely into the design of the shirts.

 

Our home and away shirts will have sponsors, so I'm happy enough with this third kit being a bit different!

It's not a template shirt though. It's got tynecastle on it. Each to their own if folk want to buy it or not. Never get why folk moan about the cost of shirts like they have to buy one. Not a dig at you, as not sure you were even getting at that.

Oh 100% agree, it has to be the right sponsor. Plain white STRONGBOW would elevate this top imo. Wonga would ruin it. Corporate brainwashing as you say...but in this case I'm all for it 😂😂

Prefer the sleeves to continue the stripes but apart from that its a very nice strip.  Just need to sign Lukaku now to complete it.

Gonna go against the majority and say it looks utter template sh1te. Only good things about it are it's a 3rd strip, and it will stop folk havering on for the Inter away strip for a while. Hope the other strips are better efforts than that.

It looks an attractive shirt, but in my world Hearts colours are maroon and white. Wearing the colours of another club is not made alright just by adding a Hearts badge, but I recognise that it is a commercial decision not aimed at the likes of me who wouldn't be seen dead in a football strip unless playing football but are now too old and useless to even try these days.
