Is there a regular bus service ? Tried on internet, but not had much success. Appreciate any help.

I suspect from your question public transport from Biggar is your only option, but if you had a car and just didn't want to drive and park in the city, the park and ride at Straiton might be an option too? It's a nice place to live though. 👍
Suspect Device
Im in West Linton just a wee bit closer. Two options... as previously said, 101 to Lothian Road/Tollcross and walk along fountainbridge or get the bus, no 1 i think, straight to Tynie Or my personal favourite route, 101 to ski slope and then no 4 to slateford/top of Robbie Ave, and walk down Stewart Ter to Stratties 🍻👍 BTW the 101(102) run about 1 per hour. You'll be fine
McGlynn The Money
There was a thread not that long ago about the 44 bus. I know it passes Tynie and goes quite far out into the sticks but not sure if as far as Biggar. Copying in @Ski Nae as I think he might know more. On bigger games. (excuse the pun) I have travelled on buses with them as I live in West Linton. Pubs shut just now but if you pop into the Elph and ask for any of the Jambos. Rab is a popular name there are at least two 😄. We take in car so if your no too smelly might be able to help as one if us lives in Dolphinton. Good luck

pharmaceutical01
I grew up in Biggar - not many jambos kicking about the place then....good to hear you are swelling the numbers

Der Kaiser
Pretty sure their theatre will offer considerably more entertainment than Tynie.

Jambo-Fox
You could hire this one and there would be room for everybody because it’s a ‘Biggar Hearts’ bus! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
