Glasgow, SSE Hydro, April 23rd 2022.  £112.50 or £137.50 a ticket.

Before that there's a Christmas special a week before Christmas in Maastricht, and he's playing Amsterdam on January 8th.  You could do worse.

Where in Glasgow ?

SSE Hydro.  Originally planned for April 2021 but postponed due to you-know-what.  His Maastricht pre-Christmas gig is indoors, whereas his more renowned Maastricht gigs are summertime events in the main square - usually through the month of July.

Here's a list of tour venues.

Go to one of his concerts in his home town Maastricht beginning of July annually in normal years - it’s a bucket list lifetime experience

Highland cathedral is outstanding.

Andre Rieu is classical music for people that don't understand classical music.

File under the same heading as Catherine Jenkins and Jane McDonald.

A bawhair away from being a Butlins act.

The Maastricht one is my favourite

I can’t lie it’s not really my cup of tea. It’s hard to deny it’s is an amazing spectacle, though. I love it when they get pissed up and the crowd are waltzing down the aisles and stuff. If I had a drink or whatever and flicking through the channels I have found myself memorised and in hysterics over in equal measures.

Fair play to the boy he has seen a niche in that market and utilised for the gain of many people.

True . I like the juxtaposition of posh audience getting bevied up and really going to town dancing etc beats Dickens pub anytime 😂

What do you mean that surprises ya!!! Cheeky ****🤨🤣

Haha does plenty for me James!!😍  love Jane , sure shes from Inverkeithing way originally 🤔 Celtica Nova are always worth a listen too. Traditional Scottish stuff with more than a hint of rock/metal in there...

Theres a beautiful Josh Grobban/Kelly Clarkson track - All I Ask of You that I love too

My favourite song however is The Kymatiks - That Road Live... Just blows me away every time I hear it...

(ill go back to being the stereotypical 40+year old white man now)
