WoolfordsHearts
He's always looked a competent footballer to me anyway, so I'm not surprised about his performance last night. I find it more scary Neilson fancied Berra more than him though tbh.

There's nothing wrong with saying "so and so hasn't played well today" rather than "get rid of, he's Shit, sack everyone". It's also, villian who needs strung up or had a decent game on here. There are most certainly no hero's. I can assure you, this place is unique in a lot of ways.
Glottis
He would have been fantastic with pre-injury Berra. If we can get a no-nonsense defender to play alongside him - you have the perfect type of partnership. Webster and Zal worked in a similar way. Guest ToqueJambo
Looked more like the player I thought we were getting. Hopefully Neilson can persist with him and Halkett for a while unless they do something disastrous. Even then I think I'd like to see Haring in at CB before Berra. No Idle Talk
I haven't made my mind up yet on Popescu as a player. What I have made my mind up about is, watching Christophe Berra is really hard going these days. So I would be happy to see Halkett and Popescu given a wee run of games playing together at centre back. See how they go.

Young Andy Irving's another prime example when he came on against dundee the other week. A few misplaced passes in a game we were chasing and he was written off on here. Madjambo21
Jury is still out for me. He had a good game last night against a team who looked dead on their feet. Can't forget his hand in their goal at the weekend and he was hopeless against Dunfermline. Hope he turns out to be a player though
DETTY29
Can it be as simple as he is far more comfortable on the right? Trying to remember how he did wih Berra when Halkett was out? Bit unfair on Halkett but for now it could be the best match.

Going by goals conceded per game he's our best CB (even before last night). Needs a run to see if he's going to be worth keeping for next year. Also players need to be allowed to settle. Both with their new team and to their new life. He may not end up a great signing. He may though!! I think he's clearly sufficient for now.
