Have dumped the yank owner.

David Smith is the new chairman and owner with immediate effect.

Posted

Still a bunch of wank stains.

Didn’t like the fat American boy. Glad he’s not involved in Scottish football anymore.

Posted

I hope he made a major loss on his Ayr United investment and is now on the dole in the U.S.A. A filthy man.

Posted

I’m sure I saw him on tv smashing a window last Wednesday at Capitol Hill in Washington 😗

Posted

Well hopefully the new owner will pony up the cash for testing.

One away.  Hopefully a few more to help cleanse Scottish Football.

good riddance to him.

Someone would have had to roll him up the steps as he would never have made it under his own steam

It’s interesting that whenever foreign owners are mentioned Dermot Desmond’s name never comes up.

That Raith chairman resigned a few months ago also.  So that's two ***** out of Scottish football.  Good ridance indeed to that fat ****.

More likely he dumped them. Heard him on the wireless during the whole legal shenanigans. Absolute roaster. Only in it because he thought he'd earn a buck. Good riddance

Media fear they lose their privileges, I expect (or their windows 😄)

Disappointing to hear.  He's an example of why Scottish football is so tinpot.

New owner acknowledging the wrongs by the SPFL might earn his club a few quid in PPV come February (if we're still playing...)

Mind when they knocked back David Murray and his dosh.

Imagine how many war chests they could have raided by now.

It was the bank's money (i.e. ours) and the Country had to bale the banks out, Minty spent nothing of his own

If Ayr had accepted Murray’s offer and he’d of did the financial dodgy tax dealings there would be no Ayr United today.

Was hoping I’d open this thread and see they had died, disappointed.  :(

Yes, they would have gone the way of Rangers.

Remember it well Rudi and Grainger duffed the penalties in the shootout.

One Yank still has unfinished buisness. The planning permission for lochend tesco is still on the way.

The new 'owner' was the vice chairman previously so they'll still be getting **** all money from me going forward 🖕

He's bailed out while he can. This was the sort of idiot the Scottish media were offering up during the summer as a voice for Scottish football.

Aye these Americans are here for the good of the clubs they're involved with. 🙃

As far as I’m concerned Raith can also **** off out of Scottish football.

He made a huge clanger but we still should have had enough to win the tie.

Ian Brines got us knocked out of the LC that night in one of the worst examples of cheating by a ref I've ever seen.

Take your pick from Brines cheating, Miko's sending off at Pittodrie takes a lot of beating. Particularly the fact he had the chance to prove it was a genuine s***e decision but chose to confirm he was a cheat.

It was actually Zal, not Miko

No argument there!  Getting off the plane in Tallinn for our game  I noticed four EUEFA blazers at the front exit and one was Brines - had to bite my tongue as much as I enjoyed Tallinn I didn't fancy a 10 year stay in jail if he got what he deserves 😄.

Apparently, he was an "observer" at the Wednesday game which Cesnauskas' Latvian team were playing a local side.

Not only was he the man who sent off Zal for an Aberdeen player putting the head on him, he changed the course of our title challenge with a ridiculous sending off of Takis against Celtic!
