UEFA would allow say, a Dutch/Belgium league or, an all Irish league like what is being proposed, if it can be agreed by the relevant associations. That's a completely different thing. I don't believe for a second the SFA, FA or UEFA would allow any club to join another association in a different country for financial gain. The Premier League may allow it because they are all about the money. The FA imo would always try to uphold the values and traditions of the game. The SFA definitely wouldn't allow it as it weakens Scottish football quite considerably. And UEFA wouldn't allow it because it sets a precedent for others to do the same. e. g. Foreign clubs joining foreign leagues for commercial reasons regardless of where they are from. I think it would be the death knell for Rangers and Celtic if they were made to relocate. It would totally alienate a large percentage of their support if they weren't allowed to play in Glasgow.
