mickycameron98 Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Was at both legs. Great times and a very decent aggregate result. Would take another Jim Hamilton anyday for us right now. Quote

Hibs were playing Stranraer in the pishing rain that same week after being relegated. We won the cup and the Hibs went down doodah Sending 100s of postcards to Easter Road Quote

Remember that was the chat but I never saw him. Saw one lad getting set about by a group of Hearts fans and my pals and I stuck up for him a bit as he was on his own. Boy was shitting himself. Found out a wee while later he was a well known casual. 🙄 Quote

Chelsea played them in the Semi Final months later, a few of my mates were there, no trouble whatsoever. There was a group of Headhunters they were hanging about with the casuals. Didn't last long as they were swiftly removed. Quote

Their big centre half scored with a header, sure he was quite a famous player , can't remember his name . Drew the second leg 1-1 , was there not some carry on with the size of the goal frames of something? Yeah .. they had a "pitchers mound" in the middle of one of the goals. They had beat a Belguin team in the previous round (Genk or Ghent} and they didnt complain. We had a picture taken for the press of Myles Hogarth (our U18 keeper who travelled) and he could just touch the cross bar at each post but his hands and wrist were above the bar standing on the mound. UEFA dismissed our compalint but upheld the complaint of the next club to play there. Mallorca was a good side and it was a great trip. Quote

Over the years I've met a few Chelsea fans abroad who claim to be 'lads'. Its easy to find out if their credible or not. Quote

He retired the following summer aged 30, because as a Seventh Day Adventists, he believed the world was going to end, so there was no point in discussing a new contract. wait what ??? Quote
