Francis Albert Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 (edited) Used to love the FA cup final. I find this as boring as could be. I could count the number of genuine and adventurous examples of individual skills on one hand. Oh well there is obamayang. Brilliant! Edited August 1, 2020 by Francis Albert Quote
Cruyff Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Never a 2nd yellow in a million years. Disgraceful decision. Quote

NANOJAMBO Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 I didn't agree with the "diving" comments on here earlier but that was blatant cheating by Arsenal and a ridiculous 2nd yellow. Quote
neilnunb Posted August 1, 2020 Author Posted August 1, 2020 Had a feeling there'd be a red card in this but that was awful 🤣 Quote
Cruyff Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 What is the point in VAR if they aren't going to overturn that? Quote

Kiwidoug Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Terrible decision. Just ruins the game. At worst it was an unintentional foul. Quote

iantjambo Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 VAR will disallow a goal if a players toenail is offside but it won’t overrule blatant cheating? Insane. Quote

XXX Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Remember all the hoo-ha in 1985 when Kevin Moran was the first man to be sent off in the FA Cup final, and there was a big debate as to whether he’d get a medal or not? Quote
Thommo414 Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Wanted Chelsea to win purely so Wolves would be guaranteed another crack at Europe. Want them to claw it back after that red now though, cheating arsenal *******s Quote

Taffin Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Really poor game made even worse by terrible refereeing. Quote
Cruyff Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Arsenal deserved to win it, they were the better team it's just a shame the ref ruined it with that red. I like Lampard but he should have changed it early second half, they didn't lay a glove on Arsenal 2nd half. Quote
XXX Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Mikel Arteta is the first person in Arsenal’s history to win the FA Cup as club captain and as manager. Quote
neilnunb Posted August 1, 2020 Author Posted August 1, 2020 🤣 loving his attempts at lifting the cup Quote
Sooperstar Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Why are they struggling to understand how the trophy works?! Quote

Cade Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 (edited) Arsenal are becoming FA cup specialists. 4 wins in the last 7 years and 7 wins this decade. Maybe just as well for them as it's becoming their only route into Europe! Edited August 1, 2020 by Cade Quote

They stopped hitting balls to giroud who was holding it up and linking play with the players out wide. if they went back to doing that it might have pushed arsenal back a bit Quote

Ex member of the SaS Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 Shame they didn't have VAR for the Sevco ,Sheep game. Kent was head and shoulders offside and the linesman( will never call them assistant refs ) was feet ahead of play and couldn't tell. Sevco getting the benefit of a dodgy decision? Surely not. Quote
