A humbling experience for such an arrogant, self entitled football club.

They will blame the rest of Scottish football 🤪

Celtic breaking records in Europe again, not so big and great against clubs their own size and without the SFA support are they

Aye, they’ll be blaming Ross County and St Johnstone.
Dont hear them saying it’s not a level playing field when they scud st Johnstone 0-6 though.

i despise that club

'Celtic don't seem to have learned anything'

There were fundamental issues here. Celtic have set up away against Borussia Dortmund as they did at the weekend against St Johnstone, expecting to have the same kind of control. That was never going to happen.

They were a soft touch. They don't seem to have learned anything. These are monumental hidings that Brendan Rodgers has overseen. They are not getting any better in Europe. They are naive to go and play that way.

Dortmund just lapped it up.

Hows Packy Bonnar doing?

To be fair he can stick the knife in when Celtic are humiliated.

Celtic need a Plan B for Europe

If you look at the way Celtic play in the league, they will try to win the ball high up the pitch. That mentality is in the players. It was proven tonight that they can not do that against top teams.

They can take four or five players out of the game with two or three passes, then they are getting at your back four. You have to come up with a different plan or structure to stay in the game.

Hilarious fan interviewed outside the ground predicted they would get a result tonight and was confident they would get to last 8 of ecl. How I laughed🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm certain Celtic got a penalty for similar not long ago.   I can't mind the game, I think it was at Celtic Park.   Of course there's a great chance they've had several similar over time.

Similar to the kyogo one they got against us, tbf

Vindicated ...

🤣

Scales?

How's about their £11M Arne Engels?

A fee we could only dream of.

Scored an arguably dodgy pen v us.

Well done! 🤭

No disrespect intended, as he's clearly a good player ... but will the likes of him and Scales turn over Dortmund?

I think not.

For sure, I'll be rubbing my BVB keyring and putting a hex on them.

I see no difference between St Johnstone's penalty and the one we didn't get v Celtic.  Oh, that's the difference.

Hahaha ...

I know that football doesn't work like this ...

... but Celtic should thank their lucky stars not to have been up against Stuttgart:-

Beautiful Brendan will be getting turned on by the best supporters in the world after that. Nice to see Kasper's shut out record get ****ed.

That's not even a top tier outfit that's took their pants down and podgered their farters tonight.

What? They got to the final only 4 months ago.

It was hilarious but come on, they're a top tier outfit.

I appreciate they reached the final but you could probably rank 12-16 clubs in Europe at elite level above them.

You maybe could, but according to the coefficient points there's only 6 clubs better than them.

The mad thing is he was probably one of their better performers  that’s how shambolic they were. He was absolutely furious when the 7th went in & with a back 4 as open as that you can’t blame him

The bottom line is that last night's result just highlights how poor Scottish football is.   There a huge issue at root and branch but mainly it's the obsession with two teams that will forever keep us down.  Irony is that the 'journalists' refuse to acknowledge that.

That Dortmund pitch looks like it has a high barrier around it which must leave the nearest touchline invisible to a lot of the spectators. It might be just the appearance, but has anyone been there?

Cruickie's Moustache

Just a wee thought.

BVB started with 6 Germans on the pitch and used a further 2 as subs.

So 50% of the 16 guys used were 'domestic' players.

Celtic's homegrowns - Taylor & McGregor as starters with Ralston coming on as a sub.

They and the rest of Scotish football have fallen so far from the time the Lisbon lions were all born within a few miles of Parkhead.

Struggling to see why people seem to still come from around the world and talk up the SFA coaching courses.

They certainly don't work for us (along with our crappy league format and overall structure)  given our inability to develop even a small number of half decent players that can perform at a higher level.
