Stuart Lyon
This wee bird flew into our house a few weeks ago. I walked up to it and it let me lift it up and place it on the outside window sill where it sat for a few minutes before flying away to a nearby cherry tree. Jamhammer
Sorry to take the thread in a weird direction but I have some coal tits in the back garden. They have quite a distinctive song and I tracked it down via the RSPB website. When my Mum passed away I went home to Wales and, when at my sisters in Snowdonia before the funeral I went into her back garden and was a bit upset. Cue a coal tit singing in the distance. A few days later I visited the meadow behind the crematorium where her ashes were going to be scattered, I sat on a bench there and broke my heart. Cue a coal tit singing nearby My Mum was a miners daughter. Many cultures believe relatives, in the shape of birds visit the bereaved. I dunno but it certainly helped me out when I was a bit lost. Anyway, back to the tits and bushes jokes Edited July 12, 2020 by Jamhammer
