cosanostra
I recorded it a little loud so turn down your volume before hitting play:wacko: It's a varied selection of the stuff i've been listening to and playing out recently. I've been saying that i'll record some mixes for ages now and it's been a while since my last effort, so here it is. It's mostly electro but i played with a little ghettotech and the last tune is a dubstep stormer. It starts off slowly and gets pretty heavy and mental towards the end. Enjoy!! Let me know if it downloads ok and if you all like it. c http://www.sendspace.com/file/d11gcm Vangelis - I'll Find My Way Home The Infiltrator - They Will Never Know Dynamix II - Ignition Tittsworth - Broke Ass N*gga (DJ Assault Remix) Electro Classique - Robot Men DJ Assault - Ass & Titties Anthony Rother - When the Sun Goes Down Bitstream - Step Retracing Eurythmics - Love is a Stranger Hyde Ft. If this is the case i will be more than happy to download it as the last one you made ( if it was you ) was pretty decent. Nuff said

Carl Spackler
I'm with Tazio Cosa, a bit heavy for me. One of my favourite mixes was James Holden "At the Controls". If you know it hHave you ever done anything along those lines?

If you know it hHave you ever done anything along those lines? Is James Holden quite deep house/ prog house / light techy stuff? I'm not really into house music of any sort apart from early acid stuff. My friend DougieO who posts on here as an out of work actor, is into that sort of thing. He's been threatening to post mixes for ages.

cosanostra
I have the Aphex, BOC and the Plastikman tracks from that mix. Some ok stuff. I checked out his myspace and he seems to be into the whole minimal thing that's really popular right now. I find it a little too boring and it's just not dark or heavy enough. Better than house though.

Better than house though. I know what you mean. His own album is boring and the M.A.N.D.Y at the controls mix which followed his was a bit dry too. The above mix is different class though. See if you can find the Nazi Trance track. It would fit with your mix.

Yeah it's decent - really nice bass noises. The drum programming is a little housey and skippity for my liking. I like big, drum machine sounds with heavy bass drums and snares. Decent track though for sure.
cosanostra
Just listened to a couple of other James Holden tracks. I quite liked one of them, it was called a Break in the Clouds. If I didn't know who it was by, I would have guessed it was an Orbital or Leftfield rarity i'd somehow missed. Very nice wind chimey synth tones. Kind of techno but with a lot of melody and orchestral style. Good tune.
