JWL Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Looking like decent weather at the weekend so wondering where will be the best place to have a few drinks and a bit of food, preferably somewhere pretty central. Tried The Black Ivy in Bruntsfield but they are fully booked. Somewhere similar would be ideal. Quote
Shanks said no Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 (edited) We were in the Blackbird, Leven St, on Monday and they serve food as well. Good set up but a little slow with drinks at first until they got organised. Gave us free shots so that made up for it. Son was also in the Pear Tree but it was more expensive and sounded a bit faffy getting a drink / using the loo. Edited July 9, 2020 by The Frenchman Returns Quote
Dazo Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 If you haven’t booked you’ll be lucky for Saturday. Quote

kila Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Looking forward to my golf club being able to serve pints and food again. Will be quite limited at first and ordered via an app while on the course but sounds a better way of doing it anyway. Quote

davemclaren Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 As my other half is still shielding the only beer garden I’ll get near, until August at least, is the one outside my back door. At least the drinks chiller is well stocked. 🍷🍸🍺 Quote
