Deodato
Well, I guess... ...We're going to have to get used to watching documentaries, as opposed to matches, here's one. Hit up Amazon Prime and check Everton: Howard's Way. Brings back so many memories. So many Scots (again) helping take English clubs to the top of the league. Graeme Sharp, he knew how to hit a volley. Neville Southall, quite simply from.a different planet. Re-wrote the rules of goal keeping. Andy Gray, he would put his head where most wouldn't put their feet. Pat Van Den Hauwe - one very bard harstard. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed. Will be nice to see us at the top of the table too!

Deodato Thanks for the tip, will give it a watch. A great era to grow up watching football. Not a lot on TV but I could probably still name most of that Everton team as well as the Villa, Forest and Ipswich teams of euro glory. Peter Reid was a great player who made the good players great with his work rate.
Nookie Bear
I watched parts of the Leeds one. Hilarious and captivating to watch the fans faces as their team implodes in front of their eyes
Debut 4
To think at the turn of the 70s Everton had as many titles as Liverpool before the latter’s incredible period thereafter. When HK brought back the glory days the fans must’ve thought they’d be back for longer than they were. For 7 seasons from 82-88 the league title never left Merseyside. Forever Hearts
Very unfortunate that Everton team were denied two cracks at the European Cup because of Heysel.

Deodato
Back on this thread, the doc touches on this game but well worth a deeper dive. Check Nev's save in the final few minutes, it secured the Toffee's the title.
