What if we win one, and draw one?

If we start Pereira we're going to concede. Thats a certainty.

It's two Cup Finals for us.

But even if we win both, it's still going to be a hard slog to get us into a position of safety.

God help us....

Sorry mate, I believe we need to win both to keep three teams in mix for relegation play offs and avoid play off.

Yep agree. Frightening position to be in.

Yes agree. It’s not just about picking up points it’s taking them off our rivals

Yup. They are must wins.

We cannot keep pereira in nets though.

If he must play if fit somebody needs to nobble him in training for the good of the team

Huge huge  games, we have to back the team and make Tynecastle a hostile place on Saturday.

Worried about the St Mirren game. Arses might collapse if we lose the first goal.

Last chance saloon not far off.

😒

Have to win both of them AND not drop too many points in what remains of the season AND hope other results go our way.

Here's the next 5 for us, Saints and Accies. Imo St J, Killie and County can't be caught anymore. Honestly couldn't tell you how the table will be after these 5 matches or guess our results after losing to Kilmarnock and St Mirren somehow winning randomly at times.

HMFC

Accies, St Mirren, Hibs, Motherwell, Livi- 2 wins?

St MIRREN

Motherwell, Hearts, St J, Celtic, Kilmarnock -2 wins?

HAMILTON

Hearts, Motherwell, Rangers, Kilmarnock, Ross County -Ideally 0 wins

Think we need 3 wins and a draw to stand a chance.

Hope I'm wrong but I can't see us surviving no matter Saturdays result. This team does not have the balls for a relegation dog fight.

I’ve got serious doubts about that to be honest bud.

I agree but changing the keeper might give us a chance

Players have 0 backbone.

That’s been the biggest issue all season. Hamilton will fight tooth and nail on Saturday. I just can’t see our bunch of losers matching that.

Have to match or better Hamilton and St Mirren’s results.  And that includes beating them.

Just need to score.. and to do that the players need to take a chance have a shot or three at the goal rather than attempting the walking the ball into the net constantly.

We don’t win on Saturday we’re down it’s that simple

We'll know if we've got the mentality to survive when Saturday's team is announced.

If its Pereira in goal, we're ****ed.

Posted

Still quietly confident we'll be alright.

A lot of points still to play for.

At least Hamilton, st Mirren and Ross county all lost too. Over to us now

Beat Hamilton and St Midden, then win every game after the split. That's what it'll take.

We need to see Stendel and his recruits start to walk the walk and it has to start right now. We know he took over a team badly coached and motivated but he has to get full points in the next two games and then carry on the momentum.

Said about a month ago that the 15th will define our season.  Massive game.

Agree with second statement. But really, three wins this season? We must win games to stay up and we've kinda forgotten how.

Posted

We simply have to win both of them.

no ifs or buts.

anything other than 6 points is going to see us favourites to go down and rightly so.

back the lads , 2 cup finals coming up and then more

Posted

I hope to hell that Ann Budge is finally considering Plan B. She dismissed relegation at the AGM but she'd better get to work on it tomorrow morning.

If we go down her position becomes untenable IMHO

Posted

IF we don’t win on Saturday then quite frankly we don’t seem deserve to stay up!

It’s a real concern mate.  We need biters and scratchers. It’s debatable whether we have them, maybe one or two. That’s not enough.

We’ve too many nicey players.  We’ve not got enough ****s, people who think they can win a 40/60, never mind a 50/50.  People who believe it’ll fall for them if they stick a toe in, if they chase a lost cause they’ll still come away with the ball. These elements have hugely been lacking in our team for donks.

Look at Killie v us. We looked like a better football side but they had better runs because they wanted to do it, players willing to burst a gut to pull our defence about,  solid players hammering into tackles and doing simple but effective play.

We are soft.

Hamilton will scrap for absolutely everything on Saturday. I’ve serious doubts that we can match that.

Pretty much this. Obviously don't have the stats to hand but it feels like 3 wins after 26 games would see a team cut off usually. Most abysmal season I've ever experienced.
