Ahead of players like Sinclair of Celtic (the good 1st season version), Dembele of Celtic, Louis Moult, Leigh Griffiths etc. He also scored 2 hattricks that season! We'd beaten Celtic, had won and drawn the two derbies so far, had made a LC semi final and had just won a tricky 4th round tie in the SC. All that and we'd led the league for some time and our manager had a heart attack. Any one getting rid of their manager then would have been branded insane. It's the next 12 months that were the problem, after the injuries really started to bite and Levein failed to cope with them. Our leading goal scorer in all competitions is Halkett with 5 (but none in the league.) So its perfectly set up for Boyce to quickly become our top goal scorer.
