That means only the above players are still alive in the competition, and all others have been eliminated. This competition was intended to be a wee bit of fun in the run up to Christmas, but it's hard to have fun when the performances on the field are grim and disappointing. Oh well, congrats to the above, and thank you to everyone else for playing.

Sooperstar
There is something strangely funny about garybwick being the inevitable winner of this competition!

We're now down to the last game, and the possible points range is 12-15 points. Only the above three posters are still in the game. All other poster have been eliminated. If Hearts lose or draw the last game, they will finish the competition with either 12 or 13 points, which means that garybwick wins the competition, and either Angry Haggis or Carl Fredrickson will be runner-up. Runner-up position will be determined by goal difference. Current GD is -14. Angry Haggis is in the driver's seat with a GD of -11. Carl Fredickson has a GD of -10. Good luck to all three. tian447
1 point from 21 is absolutely chronic. Can't believe the most pessimistic guess was the one that actually won!
garybwick
Take no pleasure from this, but it has been eye watering stuff for some time, was more tongue in cheek, will give some to a dog rescue charity I donate to and the rest for some painkillers for its pretty excruciating just now, pray Herr Stendel can get us out of this but won't be easy.
