Tazio Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 (edited) Around the 4 minute mark for both of them, combined, and both are almost perfection. Edited November 8, 2019 by Tazio Quote
Jambo-Jimbo Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Indeed they don't, both of these are about 2:30 and are perfection imo. Quote

frankblack Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Can't beat a bit of CCR. So glad to have seen John Fogerty on Bruce Springsteen's bill at Hyde Park. I saw Pixies the other month at the Usher Hall. 37 songs in two hours! Here is one of their longer songs: Ramones are probably the best short song band: Quote

Cade Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 A seminal Punk compilation. 101 songs by 101 different Punk bands, all clocking in at under 30 seconds. Quote
Bauld Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 They don't need to be long but I think most of the best songs ever written have a bit of length to them and take you on a bit of a journey. Iron Maiden are my absolute stand alone favourite band and they do some amazing songs under the 4 minute mark and loads between 4 and 5 which fly by as if they are much shorter. But give me their 8 minute plus epics all day long. Masterpieces. Quote
