Lots of talk about protests , boycotts etc .

Wondering if people think JKB should make a stand by refusing to take (pay) for hospitality tickets in the short term ?

By people continually throwing money at the club, it sends the message everything in the garden is rosy .

Thoughts ?

No. Jkb is taking a stand. Our posts are regularly quoted by the evening news.

Pity Ann isnt listening.

People will continue to throw money at the club purely because they love it. You can still pump money in and make your feelings knowm about how things are at the moment, its not a one or the other type situation.

Great idea. Any message to the club showing the fans displeasure is good.

Can't argue with that

Don’t think it’s the best way to put across the message.

If people want to protest it should be something that captures the eye of the press and potentially leads to pressure being put on Dr Budge to act.

The OP has been drinking that Shit beer in the Dickens again.

I have no idea how Kickback works with giving money to the club but I had always thought they would have already paid for items like hospitality, match sponsorship, player sponsorship etc already this season.

I could be wrong but I thought they would have taken in annual fees and spoken to the club about what they are going to pay for over the season.

Maybe my idea of how organised Kickback is could be way off of course.

The more protests, boycotts, etc etc the more it will force the owners hand. As I said anything that show the strength of feeling is good imo.

If folk seriously don't believe that bums on seats attendances aren't being meticulously tracked (thats tickets scanned on match day), they're kidding themselves. Its data which will show hard and fast what the fan feeling is. For example if the average amount of season ticket holders to miss a game is 10 then if suddenly this is 100, 200, 300 then alarm bells will be going off... you'd think?

If you chucked it into a graph there will be a slide this season which will be making the board nervous IMO. Non renewals this season must also have been a point discussed somewhere.

Show the club where you stand by all means.

If you're not happy then don't go to games and leave the rest of us to get on with supporting the club. It really IS that simple.

Go shopping, read a good book, pick up the knitting needles ..........

You're getting me mixed up with somebody who cares what you think. You're just another happy clapper, or a club plant. Or both.

You're having a laugh, Meadows, mate.

It doesn't matter what posters think, I can't see JKB jeopardising it's cordial relationship with 'the club'.

We should do a Gary Mackay and reclaim the lawnmower!

Really don't see the point in boycotts, protests etc.  The simple fact is people will just stop attending games.  The empty stands, drop in walk ups and catering and hospitality revenue will eventually force the clubs hand.  Levien is running out of time and both he and the board know it.

I reckon your lucky lodge kickback did not close this thread down meadows, you must be a valued poster.😅

I assume you mean ‘cordial’ as an adjective which means ‘warm and friendly’.

We’ve generally had a cordial relationship with the club since I’ve been involved, but not always. Is that wrong?
