Every week we start with 3-5-2 then bin it when losing. We announce Clare will be a central midfielder then stick him up front and then on the wing, even though we have McLean, Keena and Morrison on the bench. Ryo gets shoved up front front and then the left wing. Hickey does all his best work from left back, so starts right back. Smith, of course, gets pushed to be middle to make the 3. I get that the options on the bench are not great but keep it simple FFS! This. We have no shape of style of play. Every week is a guess. Yes injuries but we have a big squad. Keena should have started. MacLean should be no where near the starting 11 or bench. We need an actual formation that we stick to and the players who exactly what they are meant to be doing. micole
Today Killie moved the ball with pace, we on the other hand lumber about playing the ball square then back giving the opposition time to organise. When we do pass it forward there is very little movement or direction it really is so depressing.

Been evidently clear to everyone for months that they don't believe in Leveins way of playing apart from Ann Budge Can anyone see us taking any points from our next 4 games? X2 against the old firm and away to Livingston and St Johnstone We will be lucky to pick up 2 points from the next

It’s not helped by having someone like Bozanic coming on whose only two modes are sideways and back. He tried to take a pass facing the opposition goal today and fell over his own feet. Combine this predictable build-up with a complete lack of urgency at set pieces, a worrying lack of physicality and the endless tinkering with formations and it’s little wonder we’re a soft touch. What the **** are these players being coached to do?

They should be running through brick walls for the club. Perhaps it is the way they are "told" to play. If you are playing in a strict zonal position and not allowed to move out of it then you can only run through a brick wall if it happens to be in your zone. Riccarton3
The only time many of these players move at the speed they should be is after they've made a mistake. They create this burst of energy for about 5 seconds trying to remedy things. It's the only time you see any urgency. This is worrying no matter who is needing to play at present due to injuries.
