Heard earlier today, waited until got confirmation all his family and closest friends have now been informed, unfortunately he has passed. RIP Bobby Prentice.

Confirmed. Sadly passed away yesterday. Condolences and thoughts to  all his family. RIP Bobby.

Awful news.  RIP Bobby.  Coached me briefly at Dalkeith Juniors in the late 80s.  As an aspiring 11 year old winger, I hung on every word.  He couldn’t have been that old.

Sad news, deepest sympathies to the family,,

One of my favourite players when I was a teenager. We had a few wingers at the time, with Malky Robertson and Kenny Aird, but Bobby was mine and most other fans number 1.
