Dagger Is Back Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 We're looking into moving in to our late mothers house which is needing pretty much gutted i.e. new windows, kitchen, bathrooms, replacement doors, new boiler and radiators, potentially new roof windows put in to create more natural light, along with the usual redecoration etc It's a pretty big job but nothing majorly structural needing down apart from the roof windows and maybe a dining alcove turned into a spare room Any recommendations folks? As ever, looking or someone reliable and trustworthy Thanks in advance Quote
Horatio Caine Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Good luck with all that! Only wisdom I can offer is, a builder who says he can get started right away should be avoided! There will be a reason for that. The other side of the coin is, that the good, reliable firms will all have a longish waiting list of jobs but it's probably worth waiting a wee bit longer to get a really good job. Quote

Tazio Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Don’t use Buildplus. The owner recently beat the shit out of a friend in a disputed over a job. And not the first time he’s been convicted for assault. Quote
