Clean Bandit - Symphony.

I should absolutely hate it. Shite music, shite genre, shite everything.

However, I love it.

From earlier this year: Old Town Road by Lil Nas X ft Billy Ray Cyrus. Told myself I'd never listen to it, but I did, and I liked it

I bought a CD single of "Gimme Back My Brain" by Therapy?  The b-sides are covers of songs with Gimme in the title like Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight), Gimme Danger etc.

That cover is very tongue in cheek but I like it!

I’m an old punk rocker. Love a bit classic rock and metal. For some unknown reason I absolutely can’t get enough of 60s girl groups

Nothing wrong with that.  The ronnettes etc, have some of the best songs ever sung.  Even with him being an utter psycho, it's hard not to like Phil Spector's music.  Though if Polanski had produced albums

I bet there is a few who like sunshine on leith but don't want to admit it.

I quite like it, nice tune, and it mentions `sorrow, sorrow` quite a bit.

Anything by Blancmange, cringe at the guys voice but can't help but like their music.

Oh, and the Associates for the same reason.

Would you ever tire of smacking this smug git in the puss?

A few beverages in, and as soon as Phil Spector etc goes on, there's no turning back.  Northern soul has the same effect.  It's amazing the sound both tyles of music produced.

How old are you jan?  I want to ask about an old hammers player cross  the 60's

Don't Stop Movin- S Club 7

A classic.

However, I will say that Biology by Girls Aloud is one of the best pop songs ever.

I don't think there is any song you shouldn't like. Music is music, but I suppose the OP is basing his choice on how different it is to his normal tastes. In which case I would go for:

What Makes You Beautiful - One Direction

I Saw the Light - Hank Williams

and simply because of the whole Hibs thing, Sunshine on Leith.

Do you mind a wee PM about the old hammers player?  Just too young to have seen him but you might know who I'm asking about.

I'm actually a massive (but very straight and married etc) musical fan. Keep it very quiet.

Doris Day (thanks Auntie B ) almost whole Calamity Jane soundtrack...

Taylor Swift, Shake it off... gets the head bobbing and the serious dance face on every time.
