Really useful site, even though it depressed me to recall all the gigs I missed due to funding issues... Anyway, my first gig wasn't listed - the Keef Hartley Band at the Usher Hall in late 69 / early 70. However, it does list my second gig, the Keef Hartley BIG Band at the Usher Hall on 11/04/1970. And only 75p for the grand circle! I was mad for Hartley's music in those days, because I saw him again in Tiffany's in November 1970. Still play the first two albums. Last gig: Crosby, Stills & Nash at the Armadillo in October 2013. Next gig: Who knows? There are not many bands kicking around nowadays that really enthuse me, although a Steve Miller / Boz Scaggs reunion would get the juices flowing... I was a massive fan in the 80's but caught them in Glasgow a year or two ago and they were ******** dreadful, Mac was either steaming or stoned. He was crying, laughing, offering the audience out for fights, doing terrible Scottish accents and his voice was well off. They actually got booed. I'd never go to see em again, I'd rather remember them in their majestic pomp. One of the finest live bands I ever saw.
