Renard looks like she belongs on a basketball court or at the net in volleyball

I can't understand why she doesn't attack the ball at free kicks and corners. She's no' feart to go up for a ball in defence though.

Women's football is where it is.

If you are watching the World Cup just now, it's the standard they are at.

There is a huge divide in quality, as they are only starting to get money in the game now, meaning players can be professional.  I think about half the players in the World Cup were amateur.  Think about that before slagging off the quality.

Some/lots of them are pish, yes.  But some are technically great.

And it's actually came on and is a lot better than the last WC in 2015.

Some of the first touches are awful and the passing not much better but plenty of that in Scottish men's football to be fair.

This game has the look of a game north of the border with both teams giving it straight back to the opposition.

No...this is just dire.

Never seen any of the last one, but if there are more players that are professional and constantly training, they will only get better.

I hope you're not being serious ??

No! For all the plaudits the tournament is getting and rightly so and making strides in convincing people it’s worthy of being taken seriously you can’t stop the game cos one o the lassies got hit with the ball.

Suddenly the ball striking the arm from point blank range is not referred to VAR

Too late for Scotland

FIFA need to get a hold on the game and provide some clarity on VAR and their new shitty rules. The 'intepretation' and rules should never change Midway through a tournament

It was pretty dire like all the other games. The ball retention throughout the tournament has been rubbish. It's like ping pong. It makes games virtually unwatchable. Yes there is sone tidy play but overall the standard is very poor. I still stand by my comment that the Hearts U16s would absolutely thrash any of these teams.

I'll put money on him still being a better football player than her. Even at 70! ::troll::

Really. I thought the standard was very poor. .... and this is supposed to be 2 of the top teams.

I quite like the fact the ball turns over more often. It leads to teams attacking more and then being exposed.

Sometimes football can be too technically perfect (for me) so a few mistakes usually lead to chances.
