Tommy Johnston could manage us to the Scottish and a shit wouldn’t be given by me. Phil T
Hi folks, Phil here. Thought it best I come on and explain myself instead of hiding away (thanks to the mods for accepting my account). Firstly, my hair is fair game. It's on its way out but because I have a weird shaped head, I'm clinging on to it for dear life for the time being. As for the bad breath, that accusation belongs in the Gullit Lounge because I go through five packs of extra strong mints a day. Saturday night...my original Tweet was posted on an empty head rather than a full bladder. The point I was trying to make, though got it so very wrong, was that when we're together in the stands then the first team benefits enormously. It's probably seen as a cliche but they feed off the energy and that was so evident on Saturday. Like I said though, I got it wrong so I hold my hands up and apologise. At full time we went out of our way to praise the support across our social channels and I made sure to ask Craig about it in his post match HeartsTV interview (which we cut short, such was the emotion in the room). Please don't think that anyone at the club doesn't appreciate nor respect what the fans have done and continue to do for this club. Being at the coalface of social media I see all the comments come through and, as Olly's poll indicated, there are some who have very strong feelings about the manager. That's football however, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. It's not for me to ridicule anyone's thoughts so again, apologies if it came across that way. My follow up tweet was certainly the message I was trying to get across. Saturday was utterly devastating and I've never been more gutted at the end of a match (too young for '86, thankfully). I'm fortunate enough to be in and around the boys on a daily basis and the amount of work that went into that game was phenomenal. I celebrated in the press box like a lunatic (against protocol) when Ryan scored but to see it all ripped away was cruel and I'm not ashamed to admit I had to hold back the tears in the Hampden tunnel. What it's given me, though, is a renewed sense of optimism for next season and beyond, and I hope the vast majority of supporters feel the same. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read my drivel. I'll keep this account open as a direct method of communication should anyone want to/need to get in touch going forward. HHGH

CJGJ
Another example of some fans being too precious about anything that would dare to be critical of the club or some of its fans What he stated was true..sad but true and that should reflect on some of the fans rather than his tweet Some on here would be better off on a Celtic forum where no matter what goes on you never question the manager, the club, the owner or your captain who acted like a prat post match

The support was tremendous and it’s a long long time since I’ve seen a twirly and a massive rendition of our song at 2-1 down. The fans (and the players) did everything to rally the team and get it back to 2-2. We should be immensely proud and if it wasn’t for the fact their treble treble couldn’t be allowed not to happen, there’s a good chance we’d have another cup win to look back on. Instead that dive will be shamelessly swept under the carpet with everything else about that despicable lot. Their carpet must be touching the ceiling by now. Support on Saturday was as emotive as the players performance , was probably as tear enducing as the result. ??❤️?? 3 hours ago, Morph said: Spoiler: No hearts fan wanted us to lose on Saturday. Bridge of Djoum
I have to say, we should be expecting more from the Head of Communications. ''empty head'' or not. It's a key role at the club and to have to apologize for essentially having a pop at your own fans is embarrassing. Whether that was the intention or not. I get his point and I tend to agree largely. It's just not his place to say it. Fair play for coming on to say sorry.

Even if you’re right and those fans did want us to lose, what’s someone in a senior role at hearts doing writing that when only 26 fans picked that option out of how many members on kickback? If that’s the defence of his comments then it’s not a very good one. Mask slipped for that guy and he let his true feelings out after too many pints it seems.
