Claimed that Hearts had fans who’d be disappointed we played so well and would rather Craig Levein lost than Hearts won. Really stupid tweet.

There are times we’ve probably all been hacked off at the division in Hearts’ support this season but Saturday he should have been showing appreciation. The support was tremendous and it’s a long long time since I’ve seen a twirly and a massive rendition of our song at 2-1 down. The fans (and the players) did everything to rally the team and get it back to 2-2.

We should be immensely proud and if it wasn’t for the fact their treble treble couldn’t be allowed not to happen, there’s a good chance we’d have another cup win to look back on. Instead that dive will be shamelessly swept under the carpet with everything else about that despicable lot. Their carpet must be touching the ceiling by now.

Tbf to the lad I think it was a bad mix of an emotional post mixed with copious amounts of alcohol.

Glad he quickly responded to it given his position at the club

regardless of who is in charge going into next season, it is vital that everyone is pulling in the same direction

Stupid from a Hearts employee (I'm assuming he is??) But true

Spoiler: No hearts fan wanted us to lose on Saturday.

Had to go onto his twitter to see who he is but seems a shite choice for Head of Communication based on his twitter feed.

Easy to say shite coming off not just an emotional day or week, but in his role, cardinal sin. Wee written warning necessary for that sort of thing.

Come on here and start the topic under an alias :)

Yup

My only disappointment on Sat was the amount of UJs in our support (and them being allowed to be sold outside the ground).

An ill-advised tweet from the club about that would have been better!!

They were on sale because some fans want to buy them. It's called personal choice.

How on earth is it true?  You genuinely think when we went 1 up anyone who supports hearts was upset because Craig Levein is the manager?  Seriously some folk are batshit mental.

Ypu omly have to look at some of the comments on the various Craig Levein threads on here to see there are Hearts "fans" who would rather we got a doing on Saturday if it meant Craig Levein got sacked. Absolutely no doubt.

I doubt if any of them were actually at Hampden.

Very surprised a club employee would say it though.

Bullshit. Someone slapped his wrist and he is trying to wriggle out of it.

Still, a club employee having a go at the fans after standing amongst us on Saturday?? As a fan, I’ll ignore this ****.

Correct sir and there will always be Union Jacks at games against Celtic. Perhaps one day in the not too distant future people will realise this and see it does no harm whatsoever. Hibs have a  group of guys who take a large green and black Union Jack to games and nobody gives a toss about it.

I'm surprised folk can't see where Phil's coming from especially with some of the idiots who post on here, and on social media. Most of us think certain posters on here have agendas against Levein, and would rather see his team fail if it meant he got the boot.

He shouldn't have said it. He was probably just as gutted as us, and probably pished. No harm done. Stop greeting.

While I’m not convinced many of our fans will have wanted us to lose, we definitely have lots of embarrassing cretins in our support.

Steaming tweets from our Head of Communications are also an absolute embarrassment.

My poll on here showed that some would have been happy with a drubbing if it meant CL got sacked.

Not as happy if we'd won, I'm sure everyone would have been ecstatic if we'd won, but some would have taken CL getting sacked as the the silver lining.

The fact we got beat but played well has confused said folk.

CL will Likley stay on as well so it's a mute point.

There is it has to be said some brutal stuff from Hearts supporters on social media.

They are a tiny percentage of our support.

He has a very important job in this day and age

Hope he got a final warning.

Phil's a good guy, he's gone out of his way to help me out in the past, the guy cares.

Sounds like he made an arse of himself on Saturday but then haven't we all at some point? I'll bet he's been told in no uncertain terms it was unacceptable and he won't get many more chances, but we're all entitled to a **** up, as long as it doesn't become habit.

Theres no fans that was at Hampden or in a vast vast majority when that whistle blew for kick off Saturday that wanted Levein to lose instead of us winning.  No danger.

It was a loaded poll with two hard options.

Some folk did take the option of a loss an CL sacked over a win And cl stays.

In plain sight on a Hearts forum.

So these fans do/ did exist.

Not worth us arguing over it, but these fans do exist.

Probably a few interlopers as well.

Still leave a few that when having the choice of

CL stays and a win, they'd have taken a loss if he definitely got sacked. ?

Maybe those fans had been drinking when they voted. Only seems fair they can vote again in the cold light of day?

The clubs Head of Communications had a few shandies and thought he could have a dig at the fans. IlNo more or less than that.

To see who hated CL more than they like Hearts.

They exist.
