There's actually a photo of me in an Aberdeen top when I was about 4/5.

It was about 82-84, no idea why I jumped on that bandwagon. ?

Forgot all about that. ?

That's a huge weight of my shoulders.

As the saying goes "support your local" team this could include junior/amateur teams! I've landed with fraserburgh (heelan league) Peterhead in the Scottish league and obviously aberdeen! Any wonder I picked Hearts.

Bath City. When I first started working in Bristol I was occasionally going to Ashton Gate but it didn't take long to realise their fans are bigger arseholes than us. So even though I'm a few hundred miles away Hearts are still the only team for me. Always Hearts.

John Findlay

Born the old Simpson maternity hospital at the old Royal infirmary-Hearts.

Brought up in Royston/West Pilton-Spartans. Live on West Granton Road just round the corner from Royson Mains Road at present-Hearts.

Lived in Portsmouth area for 26 years and had season tickets for myself ex wife and two oldest children for the Fratton End 1995-2003. Still Hearts though. Used to wear my Hearts top to Portsmouth games. Got a few odd looks but never any bother.

I should have been a Clyde (Shawfield days) or Celtic fan growing up in Rutherglen. Most of my family are Rangers with a handful of Celtic thrown in as well, suprisingly no Clyde fans. Thankfully one of my uncles was a jambo and saved me.

Now in Longstone, so Hearts all the way.

As per some other posters on here, my military career to me to a number of places where I went to watch the local teams;

Lincoln, Hereford, Peterborough, Arminia Bielefeld, Borussia Monchengladbach, Udine, Exeter, Scarborough, Swindon.

When I was growing up, nearest was probably Inverness Thistle/Caley/Clach

But I was always a Jambo.

If we are talking senior teams, I think that East Stirling is geographically closest to Bo'ness or was when I was growing up until Falkirk moved to Grangemouth.. Born at the old Simpson's Maternity hospital, which I think means Hearts. Although like most people I've moved around a fair bit, for work, university etc.

Much of my childhood was living in Wardieburn Place East and lived on West Pilton Green after leaving my parents. Both predominantly hibby areas yet never had any bother wearing my Hearts top.

Born Hearts, grew up Linlithgow Rose, back to Hearts, now I'm a fairly even part-time split between Hearts and Phoenix Rising FC.

Born down by The Shore in Leith, so probably should have supported Hibs.  Just off Robbie Ave these days, much better!
