Nelly Terraces
Hopefully playing with a hernia can hamper him a bit. Broonaldo has a broken toe as well - even if he plays that is just asking to be 'accidentally' trodden on by 1 our players early doors. Sexton Hardcastle
Glad he will be part of their defeat. Won’t be jumping around with his fellow IRA supporting pals dressed in their standard dark green jackets jumping about with that silly microphone. Tears and snorters and hopefully a dislocated knee. Jodami
Another Paul McStay, if the boy had an ounce of intelligence he would have been long gone and developing like Robertson. Classic Old Firm baked in sectarian tunnel vision arsehole whose world revolves around a fable that only the half witted believe. Let him play, he's been shite all season anyway. My take on it, a couple of patched up players for them, longer it goes, the better it becomes for us. Half fit player playing through pain, that's got potential for us. Never been convinced by Lusting either, yet their defenders have chipped in with a good few goals of late. joondalupjambo
Modern footballers do what their club advise them to do and all he is doing I guess is following that advice. Club Doctors will be saying ok for one more game but come off if you feel any problems. Celtic will have spoken to the National teams medical staff and said here is what we plan to do, problem? National team doctors cannot prove anything and will understand that he is needing an operation. Club Doctors will be saying op needs to happen asap after the cup final and he needs time to recoup. Club says Champ League qualifiers priority to player but quietly so Steve Clarke cannot hear them. To be honest I cannot see what all the fuss is about, no point in having an unfit player in such key Scotland games. Celtic pay his wages and if they want to risk him in the cup final so be it. OmiyaHearts
I'd hope we would do the exact same, if one of our players needed an op. International football is insignificant compared to club football. We already lost a good player for a period because of a Scotland games, so its club before country for me.

I hate this about Celtic players. Armstrong was horrendous for it. Despite his ability he's not even got 20 caps. Good thing is, it should get that lad at Killie a shot. Taylor? I think Clarke has the character to put his foot down if he feels like certain celtic players are picking and choosing (i.e they'll call off the glamorous games but suddenly be available when we play a france or Italy type team).
