tian447 Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 It's the time of year where teams start launching their new kits, so here's a thread for them! Also, bonus sweepstake for when we will launch our kit, as we always seem to be one of the last teams in the UK to reveal what we're going to line up next season in! I'm going for June 6th! Quote
tian447 Posted April 24, 2019 Author Posted April 24, 2019 I'll start off with the new Juve shirt: Bold, different, and not sure if I hate it or not! Quote

Cruyff Turn Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I’d be disgusted if Hearts changed the badge to some sort of ‘modern logo’ like Juve have but not only that, completely changed their kit from traditional stripes. Modern day football summed up in a football top. Quote
Sarah O Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Hate these threads. The fan mock ups are always so much better than what we end up with. Quote

Diadora Van Basten Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I am not a fan of the Juve so no doubt the kids will like it and it will sell like hot cakes. The Liverpool strip is like the one I had in 84ish but not as good. Quote

Phil Dunphy Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 The Juve one is symptomatic of the kit designers running out of ideas. “Just make something popular” without making something that represents the history of the club they’re making the kit for. With the unbridled success of Classic Football Kits and the nostalgia factor involved in that area, kit makers would be daft not to try and recreate some of the glory efforts of the 80’s and 90’s.
