My take on it wasn't the bit regards electoral fraud in the Brexit campaign by various leave groups, but the role Facebook played in it and what that means for future elections/democracy in general. But as a country, it has been ruled that the winners in the Brexit referendum broke electoral law - but if you say that you can't be taken seriously? That's what you are saying, right? Homo sapiens has flourished on all continents except Antarctica, having survived the days when infectious disease was a relentless procession of misery, life expectancy was 25 years, science didn't exist, the most we could adapt materials was a sharpened stone or stick, our numbers were down to a tens of few thousands and most of Great Britain was invisible under an ice sheet. We've since enjoyed world wars, nuclear war, ice sheets receding by 1,000 miles and firearms available to any lunatic who really wants one, yet our numbers, life expectancy, prosperity and health keep going up. https://www.humanprogress.org/ The Cup Final, though, f'ing hell... AlphonseCapone
There's more wealth now than previously. But all that wealth is increasingly going to the minority. House prices that are drastically above average salaries, increased working hours, more working poor, food banks, record levels of personal debt, trade wars, decreasing resources. You need to be an idiot or selfish arsehole to think this is all maintainable or desirable imo.

Gorgiewave - you're actually not capable of thinking for yourself, are you? All you can do is parrot someone whose catastrophic policies set the runaway train off down the tracks. Gorgiewave thinks that homelessness being up almost 150% since 2010 is the 'route to prosperity'. He thinks that the UN condemning the UK for its treatment of the poor and disabled is 'the route to prosperity'. He thinks that 50% of disabled people in the UK having considered suicide is 'the route to prosperity'. He thinks that the return of rickets to parts of the UK is 'the route to prosperity'. He thinks that starving kids going to school without proper shoes is 'the route to prosperity'. He thinks that young girls sleeping in rubbish bins is 'the route to prosperity'. He thinks that foodbanks opening in schools is 'the route to prosperity'. He thinks that people dying while they wait for their appeals against PIP or ESA decisions (72% of appeals against both are won) is 'the route to prosperity'. He thinks that average wages being lower than in 2008 is 'the route to prosperity'. And he thinks that this is the 'route to prosperity'. The chap above, deemed 'fit to work' by the DWP, is dead now. Gorgiewave doesn't care. He doesn't care about anyone poor or vulnerable. At all. At all. At all. And you know why? Because Gorgiewave's entire world view begins and ends with himself. "I'm doing OK - so everyone should be able to do OK". Ridiculous, offensive, sociopathic bollocks.
