Just throwing it out there.

It is a possibility but that sort of surgery can never guarantee 100% recovery.

Sun reporting naisy scans being sent to US based specialist who he has seen before. Don’t suppose nobody will know timescales at the moment but they are reporting race against time for potential cup final, maybe just paper talk

Rather understating the severity of him possibly being out!!

With him in the side we've only lost 5 out of 27 games, one of those games was Doyle's last minute howler a couple of weeks ago and two of those losses were against Celtic (where he came off injured after 5 mins in the semi and half time last week) .

We lost five (and drew two) of the eight games he missed between October and December

"And Naisy, who is definitely out of the Euro 2020 double-header with Kazakhstan and San Marino this month, is sweating on the results."

Definitely misses our next 3 games then and can't see him back for Aberdeen.

At his age and even if it is not as bad as first feared, I don’t think he will play again this season. Huge loss and hasn’t really been right since he came back from the last one.

Again, guys will have to step up and take responsibility in his absence.

He's scheduled for a tidy up operation in the summer, have a feeling that will be pushed forward now.  Up to Norwich and what their guys deemed fit.

Will he be offered a deal to stay with a high wage if his knees are going to be continually dodgy. Really hope is but wonder if it will change the mindset of the management when looking at the budget for next season

If he needs an op or if he is scheduled for a tidy-up in the summer then all this talk about  an MLS move must just be rubbish. MLS regular season runs March to early October so even if fit he wasn’t getting there until June. If tidy-up required its July or later. If he needs another op he isn’t young to be match fit until the same timeframe. Why would any MLS team want him for last two to  three months of season? They operate on total wage bill rules in any case so would have to free up space and cash to allow him to join. Hard to know who to believe these days.

Whilst a serious injury now would be bad news for this season I think it significantly increases the chances of him signing a new deal with us this summer. If we want to take the chance given his two dodgy knees.

Naismith was quoted talking about a potential MLS move and the attraction of playing abroad.

Yep, it’ll happen now so he is fit to move in the summer. Whether that is to us or not remains to be seen.

He's been offered a deal already to join us permanently.

Yeah I know and I am glad he has. Was just thinking if the test results are bad, hopefully they are not, will the offer still be there. Fingers crossed it will not too bad because he is a massive player on and off the pitch. Very noticeable our performances drop when he does not play. Maybe being a bit pessimistic but the nightmares we've had with injuries this season you kind of expect the worst. ?

Back for the cup final in which he scores the winning goal vs Celtic in his last game for Hearts.

He's not seeing the surgeon until Friday so how the hell would some brain dead Hibs shop front know the outcome two days beforehand.

Hopefully we won't struggle without him to much now that Uche is getting back up to speed.

Surely no better time to move Djoum to the no10 position while Naismith is out.

Some are also claiming a 2019 Hearts Cup win would be just as "tainted" as the previous three.

You have to hand it to them, it's a unique site. It stands alone in its delusion and nutbaggery.

I noticed a thread earlier on about their memories of George Best!

2000 notes per week for him to pee it up a wall and not turn up for their games.

Pretty sure he failed to show up about 3 times that season.

He did make it for a Meadowbank v. Hibs Cup tie at Tynecastle though. Hearts were away to Alloa (abandoned at 0-1 down, phew) but I was too young for away games at the time so popped along to Tynecastle. It seemed to be all Hearts fans in the shed that day.

Thistle lost but I don't remember the actual score.

Details plz! Sounds to me as though their wee bottoms are starting to twitch, and the comfort blankets are coming out.

It's their Partick v. Hearts thread which is still going nearly 48 hours after the event and has reached 14 pages.

Latest gem is that the SFA are engineering the draws so that Hearts win it.

It must be a hoot being so bitter.

Something about a £20m bit of financial chicanery, dubious donations, money laundering...its mind bending stuff but fecking hilarious.

I remember the groans of fans in the shed at the half time score then the relief when it filtered through it was abandoned. Had a wee check on London Hearts and it was fog that caused it after 51 minutes.

Already found guilty by the 12 (15 in Scotland) angry men on Hibs.nut.

Sentencing expected soon from the judge. Probably that loon with the yacht.

Every player has the right to take some time before signing a deal.

But at any stage in your career running your contract down to maximise your options could leave you ****ed
