Justin Z
Also yeah, considering how much interference in foreign governments we do, we sure cry about it, don't we? But not proven? Come on. Every intelligence service in the US agrees the Russians went ballistic in 2016, and have kept at it since. Wish we would just leave countries the **** alone, but we all know that's not going to happen.

Plausibly and likely. Should it be illegal? Maybe, and one argument that it should is because some arsehole like Trump will come along, see that, then do much worse things like attempt to use the resources of the United States to induce foreign governments to do things that benefit him politically, and millions of people will say "what about Biden?" in response. 3 hours ago, RobboM said: Trump wanted dirt on Biden. It was even enough for the Ukrainians just to say they were investigating. Although this is only a small part of the corruption, it's the key difference, yeah. And is explicitly illegal and forbidden in the Constitution. And then Trump flat out asked China publicly to do the same thing in violation of the Constitution. The knob. Yes no one can say they don't have any mis feeling about killing even if an unborn is involved with no choice, but do not religious people believe that what happens to us all is God's will. There is no single way of death or time of, some like myself live a long productive life others die at their peak and never enjoy their efforts. What is sad and pathetic to me is a person can use the death of innocents to bolster his point in praise of an adulterer, liar, coward and like his hero does it with an alias, also a coward, takes one to like one. Sharpie
Watched the start of the Judiciary Hearings this morning. Nadler gave his opening statement of their, the Democrats reasons and evidence for Impeachment. The Republican response was the usual you don't like Trump so you are out to get him no real exculpatory evidence, no real defence. The next phase involved Republicans time wasting with constant interruptions and motions. A Harvard professor then gave a talk on the Constitution, it's foundation, purpose, and implementation, excellent. If all that is not enough I got the impression that Trump at the NATO meetings is being recognised by other leaders as a bufoon and object of mirth. On one occasion he was asked a question and stuttered and tried to cover the fact about climate change that he had no clue. Instead rambled on about garbage being put into oceans. Sharpie
For a while I thought Melania had the same negative feelings about Trump as many others, but have changed that opinion. During the Hearing last week a female Constitutional lawyer made a comment that there was a difference between an elected President and a King. She used as an example Trump could name his son Baron, but unlike a King could not make him one. Melania later made a statement that it was awful that this woman would use an innocent child to prove a political point. Its too bad Melania doesn't feel the same about the sixteen year old boy who died under suspicious circumstance while in custody by ICE. It is also quite to me terrible that infants and toddlers are removed from their parents and kept in cages, but then that is not as bad as making an example of bestowal of titles. I also am not surprised that she did not comment on her husbands act in front of thousands, of Lisa Pages FBI boyfriend in a state of pre orgasm verbosity, Trump did it with appropriate grunts and facial actions. Did Melania give any thought to the fact that is how he probably looked in real life while he was having sex with a porn star, while Melania was about to give birth to the same Baron. Sharpie
I hear some opinions that they should have included Obstruction of Justice, ie The Mueller Investigation. Seems a good idea not to, for a careful listener they seem to have what they need to prove their two cases. So far all the Republicans have done is obstruct with motions, delays and speeches, seldom does one hear the President done nothing wrong, and all that say he did is Hearsay, Lies, Presumptions. Of course whatever happens the Senate will use their majority to quash it. It is difficult to consider the end to all this. Of course he will not be convicted, will never be removed, but will the evidence be enough to dispirit those who may have thought about voting for him. Sadly the Democrats in their choosing of a candidate are destroying each others charac ter, ability, and worthiness of the position of President. Russia, North Korera, Saudi, Iran, and others must just be wetting themselves with the joy and disbelief that the American political system is achieving for them the chaos they have been in some cases trying to create for seventy years. Sharpie
I watched the lieing leader at his Pennsylvania campaign rally last night. First falsehood, right on key the protestor appared, Trump remembered the scripted get him out of her. Then the compliments to Law enforcement. He then blasted the IG report as lies, and that his Campaign of 2016 was spied on. This has been stated as not true, that the FBI actedcorectly starung the investigation but made some bad errors in the warrant applications. He then went on his orgasm act about Lisa Page and her married lover. He then went on that he had heard, that she had taken out a Restraining Order on Stzork. He said I heard, people are talking about it, and made other comments to ensure he could not be sued for his lie, all false, there is no such Order he lied. He assured the audience that the USA is respected world wide, for some reason he forget some of the Leaders were mocking him and laughing at him. Is it the ultimate authority that allowed the massacre of innocent Jews, Poles and others in the early 1940's. This same authority who allows people like Kim in North Korea to obtain nuclear weapons of mass destruction. I can understand a belief that destroying an unborn life is appalling, surprisingly so do I. My difference is that for thirty six years of my life I lived in the real world. I saw mans inhumanity to man in I would suspect most of its forms, I have to admit I am not sure how the ultimate authority makes the decisions. He has a written book of rules called Commandments, and yet some of his most ardent followers beleive in his delegated authority to a man I have just mentioned in another post who lies, cheats, breaks commandments every time he opens his mouth, I honestly just don't understand that I honestly have no use for you or your opinions, but have every belief in your right to express them, I just hope for you that you are never unfortunate enough to go through a door that is the entrance to the real world of human man/woman. I don't want to go off-topic on this thread, as Herr Trump gives us enough to comment on. So this will probably be my last comment on the subject of abortion. No one likes abortion. It's a gut-wrenching event for everyone involved. But it's a reality of our society, and has been for centuries, so we need to recognise that reality. The issue can't be legislated away. When you say "influence and advice", from whom? It's a highly emotive topic, so one would be hard pressed to find someone impartial to give that advice. And if the advice is biased, what value has it? You mention a hypothetical government imposed law. Why is a law necessary at all? Why is a law required for a woman's reproductive processes? There is no abortion law in Canada. None is needed. Advocates from both camps are free to express their views , frequently vociferously, without interfering with the choices of others. It works. No woman in Canada has died from an illegal abortion since our abortion laws were scrapped decades ago. Back on topic ... yon Trump is a buffoon. The hypocrisy is startling. Trump a serial adulterer criticises, mocks and insults two people who had an affair. Trump uses a word I despise "scum" to describe the F.B.I. Sure they played a stacked hand in their investigations, but scum. The delightful Melania criticises a Hearing witness for mentioning her son, she says it is wrong to use an innocent child for political purposes, true, but it is equally wrong for her husband Donald Trump, President of the United States to publicly show a tweet he made about an outstanding young teenager, which was nothing but an insane tantrum by an old man who lost a nomination to the child as Time person of the year.Melania said nothing. The Trump support is full of two facers like Graham who were vocally, insultingly critical of Trump prior to his election, but now act as if he is the paramount of virtue, intelligence and decncy, none of which is true. ,. .
