Good player for this league.

We need to start pinching the best of the other teams by offering a good wage and first team football.

Cadden to follow please.

Sounds ideal however hopefully our main focus is a competent goalie.

Nah, we can only go after 1 player at a time.

Have to wait until this deal is completed or falls through before we can move on to the others.

Yes. Good positive signing if he comes. Aberdeen thought they had him and Gauld in January, all the better!

SPFL player if ever there was one, like Naisy avoiding the States, this guy should avoid England.

Defends well and comfortable with the ball at his feet, no brainer for us. Would allow us to cash in on Soapy with a bit of peace of mind.

Yes, definitely happy with this. Cracking young defender, that is only going to get better with age and experience. Especially with Christophe to help and guide him.

Hopefully it comes to fruition.

Him, Dunne and Berra our centre half's.

Soapy away for £8m to Bournemouth or the likes.

Djoum re signs

Naismith resigns

Dikamona to resign as back up.

Foderingham signs

Cadden signs

Get Barry  mackay (Lewis mcleod is also out of contract but never really thought that much of him tbh) and one other midfielder. Let's say Adam or Stewart.

Milinkovic resigns

Left back, **** knows tbh.

Mystery striker, let's say Shankland or Moult.

Sammon, Martin, Garrucio, Mitchell Bozanic, Maclean, Hughes away. ( not because I dislike them all just because they seem not to be in the first team plans)

Stand paid for. Name it the Soapy stand.

Nb, I bought fm for the first time in 6 years.

A good no nonsense centre back. Been impressed with him each time we’ve played Livi this season. Would be a good addition for us if he was to come

Would be happy with that.

Can't be on much at Livingston.

I know someone who is in the reserves for livi who are part time , hes only 19 mind but was offered a full time contract worth £105 a week. He turned it down as he makes more as a sparky.

In no way am I saying first team players are on as low a wage as that but they wont be on a massive amount more I would imagine.

I think a ft first team player will be on a massive amount more compared to £105/ week.

Half of that would be about right, imo. Doubt there's a player over there, on more than 40k a year.

Edit:  Here we are...

"Livingston paying the least amount on salaries at £671 per week (£34,882)."

Presumably that's average though? He's the captain so will most likely be on the most.

That's allot more than £105/ week.

Also if some players are on £105, some will be on around £1000 or that average would be far less.

For example at Hearts, imagine Cochranes wage, then Djoum's then Berra's.

Big difference, the mean or average of a 30-40 man squad isn't an indicator of the wages of the best 5 players or so.

That may also not include any bonuses.

Anyway, livi first team players are on allot more £105/ week, that is all I said.

Not wanting to de rail a thread, we can offer more than livi, that won't be the issue, the issue is what we can offer compared to other interested teams.

Barrie McKay who is on a three year deal at Swansea?

Yip, unlikely but 14 league appearances, 8 of them as a sub might mean he'll want 1st team football.

Unlikely, tho. I agree.

Superb signing if we pull it off, he can bring the goalie from Livi with him

He’s been throwing some in recently.

Pretty sure that would be illegal as it's below the minimum wage.

Depends how often the youth teams are expected to train. Maybe "full time" is only getting them in a few hours each day. I wouldnt think its outwith the realms of possibility.
