How that imposter if a player got the full game is beyond belief. A complete non entity. Also Morrison on the other side. Never a player in a million years. Awful.

Thought that was his best game for us. And still pretty underwhelming. Shows signs of promise...if not guarantees of future excellence, that some seem to see.

Aye beat a couple of players out wide put great ball in middle whereas Levein plays two strikers who have been in first team squad 10 minutes. As for the goalie we spend two years chasing McGregor with no plan B and get those two. As for the right winger Morrison give me peace has had more than enough chances but appears to be a Levein favourite. I thought djoum was ok Mitchell not bad and the rest Tom kite.

It’s all about the system, and the way CL is setting the team up isn’t getting best out of anyone.

Neither Clare or Lee suit a CL team, in fact no midfield player does

What is his proper position?

He plays behind the striker, why stick him out on the left? If you are going to put him on the wing atleast make it the right wing. He can drive with a football and should be taking Olly lees place once Haring is back.

On a night hardly any player got pass marks probably Djoum as the exception, mentality on here is 'lets single only one or two out'

Typical p*** you read on here after a defeat

Wasn’t the worst player on the park tonight. His attitude much better than others. Tracked his men and others when they couldn’t be arsed

Here we go again with a Sean Clare the imposter post. Was considerably more effective than Lee and was v unlucky to see the corner routine which he was on end of being blocked. Some people seem to wilfully overlook some utter turd on display and just jump on SC's back.

Our manager has after the game with vanecek yet Clare is useless in every game but is never criticised by him

Probably because he's not useless in every game and people have just made up their minds about him before the game starts.

We have too many players who don’t have it in them to impose themselves properly.

Thing is, as time goes on it may turn out not to be their fault. They simply may not be good enough or have a tough enough mindset.

What about Olly Lee? Shite yet again

He was terrible even had the cheek to try lift the crowd with the arm gesture..

Maybe a few threw balls or beating a man with the ball might get the crowd  going.

Our midfield tonight was poor and Lee n Clare have been pretty poor all season

He wasn't great again but Lee, Morrison, Mulraney, Vanacek, and MacLean were all worse. Don't think he deserves his own thread on this occasion.

I actually thought he was alright tonight, in a team full of poor performances to single him out is unfair. Djoum was our best player.

Lee gets an easy ride but tbh apart from a ping he's not doing much.

I thought only Djoum and Keena played better than Claire but guess that doesn't suit a lot of agendas

Clare had a few good moments tonight, but still offered very little.  Lee and Morrison were much worse.

Only Djoum & Smith earned their wages tonight.

He should be played through the middle. At least he looks like a midfielder who wants to make runs into the box and take a shot. None of the others come anywhere near to doing it. In my opinion, the guy is being played in the wrong position out wide.

Olly Lee is contributing little from the middle and certainly doesn’t look like an attacking threat.

Our midfield set up is, in my opinion, the  biggest failing we have. Take out Naismith and they look like they don’t know what to do.

Bazzas right boot

He shouldn't be playing just now.

He shows really good flashes, look at his goal but for me he does not get involved enough in the game and goes missing too often and would be easy to play against.

Seems to almost hide sometimes.

Today he actually got in the way a few times.

He doesn't enhance the team in my view and we need the best team out, not developing players for next season.

Edited by Olly Lee's left boot

Nowhere near the worst on the park tonight

My feeling too. Showed a bit of heart and fight in making key tackles, more than most. Hard for ball player like him to get involved when the balls being hoofed forward all the time.

Our Captain was the biggest culprit tonight for hoofing and losing pocession, love Berra but he is struggling just now

Nonsense. Was one of very few to put in a bit of effort tonight. Whilst I wouldn't say his performance was "good" he was better than pretty much everyone bar Djoum this evening.

Clare kept us in the cup so deserves slack . Djoum apart,   he was best of the shite tonight tbh. He had the square root of fek all around him so was on a hiding to nothing. Look at Lee, Morrison, Keena, Vanacek for complete rank performers tonight. Clare got brought down to their level through no fault of his own tonight in my view.

could do that he got shit service from our defenders also.

He was ok a no worse than most of the team, the corner routine worked well but MacPhee hasn’t factored in the 12-15 players blocking the way to goal ?.

He hoofs it at the best of times, limping badly all night again. Just not his usual 9 out of ten but still better than the rest. Three at the back and the extra running out to the left won’t help. Not sure if this injury can be played through or needs rest, certainly rushed back too early.

Totally agree re Clare. An embarrassment. Morrison needed a goal and he got it. Mulraney perhaps more potent. Soo much better now Souttar is back. When Naismith plays we win and when he doesnt we lose,,,,

What has Clare done to be an embarrassment?

His last 3 games he's came on leaps and bounds and hes getting better every game.
