Big West Midlands derby

It's not really a derby - Black Country derby is Wolves v Baggies & the Brum derby speaks for itself. This isn't seen as a derby down here no matter what Sky say.  Likewise when Wolves play Villa or Brum there isn't the same edge when they're playing Baggies although it gets tasty when Wolves play the Blues simply because their fans are massive dickheads.

Fair enough, but it is only about six miles. It’s a big game for both sets of fans, and the atmosphere is utter gash

Cheating basser to steal a late equaliser with a handball.

Should be ban for that.

Accidental didn't mean it

But should have been chalked off

Very hard to pick a winner in derbies.

Would be good if there was a cup across the borders, like in 70s involving clubs from say Edinburgh and Birmingham playing each other...

Friday night special's.

He did mean it!! In my opinion, but didnt think he'd get away with it,hence the lack of celebration to start.

Decent game. Villa plenty chances to win it.

That equaliser may well be the worst miss of the week as far as officiating goes. I still want Madden and Dallas hung, drawn and quartered but I’d suggest that’s even worse than the two Hearts incidents.

Excellent refereeing though, eh? Not like we have in Scotland ?

IMHO the referee was in such a position as not to see the handball, of which there were 2 in the incident as seen from behind the goal, and the linesman could not tell from his position either.

If VAR was in use who actually calls for it? Is it the ref or the VAR gadgie?
