Buffalo Bill
In the last day: My TV broke. My back seized up. My neck is agony. My kitchen flooded. My drill packed in. And my goldfish died. None of that compares to the pain I suffered in my big toe as I stubbed it on the dehumidifier I had to fork out on; not even the squelch of water as I limped into the puddle in my kitchen as I search for the net to dispose of the goldfish. The goldfish is deid as is now resting in the wheelie bin. Sometimes, you just have accept your fate. Someday, Hearts are going to get a manager. Buffalo Bill . Chin up BB, It could be worse at least you won't have to watch Eastenders, do any heavy lifting or DIY and you'll won't have to put a thread on here asking for advice on how to kill a goldfish. I don't hold out much hope for a manager though. Oh and if you can rescue the Goldfish from your wheellie bin maybe Glen would like it for his cat http://www.g-medeiros.com/pictures/80s/8007.html

Whatever happened to respecting the dead? Surely down the pan would have been a more fitting 'burial'.

Glamorgan Jambo
BB you need to invest the royalties from your current book and the massive advance you'll be getting from your publisher for the next one on a wee hoose with a garden so you can give the goldfish a decent burial. The Glamorgan Jambo estate has a heavily populated 'pets corner' with many goldfish, gerbils etc resting in peace for a few nights until the local foxes inevitably dig them up. Stewart MacD
Using an electric drill inside a goldfish bowl was always going to lead to disaster.
