Trouble at the Football

There's a brilliant new thread on the bank defaulters website about trouble at the football.  It makes mention of Hibs class of course and further mentions of isolated incidents.

The funny thing is (not funny in the Stanton sense but peculuar) is that it makes no reference to absolutely disgraceful post- match scenes at a recent Scottish Cup final.  Rioting.  Threatening opposition players.  Wanton damage.  Had it all and it was widely broadcast.

Many arrests and convictions resulted and it is a permanent stain on the history of Hibernian f c.

Glaring omission from their catalogue of trouble.

The OP's vermin obsession continues....

It does indeed Geoff although I'm giving you credit you scarcely deserve.  If you had taken greater advantage of the education system you would have an adult understanding of the words obsession and vermin.

What is Hibs Class? Makes me cringe any time I hear it.

I always think of the boy who shits the bed at his girlfriend's mum and dad's house in Trainspotting when I hear it.

When your team finally wins the Scottish Cup and the players who finally delivered it and ultimately became club legends are denied the privilege of doing a deserved lap of honour around the national stadium with the trophy because the fans would rather invade the pitch and try to beat up opposition players.

THAT, is Hibs class!

Cmon, it was just understandable over exuberance.

St Johnstone won their first ever Scottish Cup in 2014 and their fans managed to remain in the stands and celebrate properly.

As did the ICT fans when they won their first trophy a year later.

In 1998, we won the cup for the first time in over 40 years. A victory that meant so much to all of us. We managed to stay in the stands.

Sorry, but the over exuberance line doesn’t wash. They behaved like thugs that day and robbed their players of the memory of doing a lap of honour that meant so much to their club.

Sorry I don't want to put any kind of damper on slagging Hibs and their despicable fans but those disco dancing tough guys are Falkirk's top boys.

They are confronting a  couple of Hibs guys on a train platform from a couple of seasons ago but the guys with all the top moves aren't Hibs.

They are a risible spunk-stain of a club.  Enormously looking forward to putting them firmly back in their place this season.

The Falkirk dance group were spectacular.

One beautifully hops to the side then another hops forward closely followed by and hopping dancer while other hop into the space left.

The brief appearance by the hobo hopper complimented it all.

Pitch invasion in 1954 and  in 1998 for our Cup wins albeit in a very emotional manner and in complete opposite to how a large percentage of how the Hibs fans behaved.

Still puzzled as to why a Hearts fan would wear a Newcastle UTD top to a Scottish Cup Final.
