Vladimir Romanov relaunches manager hunt as Weiss stalls over Tynecastle hotseat

HEARTS owner Vladimir Romanov won't resume talks with Gudjon Thordarson even though Artmedia Bratislava manager Vladimir Weiss looks to have blown his chances of becoming the next Tynecastle head coach.:rolleyes:

 

The Slovakian is stalling amid speculation he is the preferred choice to become boss of his national team.

 

Romanov has launched a new search for a manager but Icelander Thordarson is off his radar.

 

The former Barnsley, Notts County and Stoke boss, who is in charge of Akranes in his homeland, had been approach by the Tynecastle outfit about the vacancy.

 

But his agent Olafur Gardarsson said: "There has been no further contact from Hearts, I've heard nothing."

 

Meanwhile, former Gretna striker Mickael Buscher, 21, has told Hearts he won't be going back on trial.:rolleyes:

 

The 21-year-old felt he should have been offered a contract but was told to report for pre-season training.:rolleyes:

 

Full-back Jose Goncalves may quit Tynecastle after entering contract talks with German outfit Nuremberg.
