To provide a bit of perspective, only one Premiership team (Motherwell) took 12 points from 12 last season. Already this season 5 of the other 7 Premier teams have dropped points. We obviously need to be looking for 12 points, especially as 9 points didn't guarantee progress last year as one of the best runners up. But hardly 'unthinkable' to get less than 12points. As a side note, with goal difference not only being a potential crucial decider of 1st/2nd but also potentially used to determine which 4 of 8 group winners are seeded in the next round and which 4 of 8 runners up go through, if we get a good lead tonight there really is a reason to keep pushing for more goals.
