I think I'll get a piece and send it to the Lizard, with a pair of scissors, just so we know what length he would like it for when the Ugly Sister comes visiting..

Don’t see what’s wrong with selling the turf off. For a fiver as well isn’t bad either

'From Harry Cochrane’s unforgettable strike against Celtic to Don Cowie’s late Scottish Cup winner against Hibs, the Tynecastle pitch has played host to many a memorable moment this season'

Many memorable moments...I don't think I can think of many more than the two they've mentioned

It'll be decent turf, nothing wrong with it. Just the undersoil at the ground that is the problem.

Should sell it to Killie.

Why? Most clubs do this when replacing their pitch. Tottenham did exactly the same I think when they started their stadium rebuild and tore up their pitch.

I think its a good nostalgic offer.

No sorry, my comment was aimed at the whole 'memorable moments' thing.

Miserable ***** on the prowl again. Either you want to buy or not, if you don't just **** off.

I wont be buying, but if someone does fancy a bit, good for them.

So Brenda says nothing about the pitch this time and his team win, so the last result at Tynie he would be accused of disrespecting  the Hearts performance 4-0

Of course he will slate the pitch if not he would look like the clown he is

100% agree with this post.

If you don't want to buy something then don't buy it.

If you don't want to buy something then don't buy it.

Indeed, however, should that preclude you from having an opinion on a football forum about it?

GG?

I've a mate with the intials GG. His middle name also begins with G. He has a rather... eh... flamboyant... lifestyle and is thus known as 4G.

Im not aware of his liking a good rip off unless it means something else in certain circles. In that case I really wouldnt be surprised if he was a fan.

Id love £100 worth here.  Would feel great mowing it and if any weeds appeared I would keep them and give them names like Deeks and Brendan.

Yes, that's how childish I am.
