Sharpie Posted April 7, 2018 Share Posted April 7, 2018 Fourteen young hockey players have died when their bus was T boned by a truck, they were travelling to a cup playoff game when the accident occurred. The ages approximately 16-20, 14 others are injured three of them critically. One father visited his son in hospital, the Dad just happy that he was breathing and talking, asking about his team mates, he has a broken back and can feel nothing below his waist, they are a team from Humboldt Saskatchewan a population of about six thousand. These young hockey players travel 100's of kilometres during the season, by bus in all weathers, some make it big some don't, but they enjoy it. Such a tragedy, young lives gone, and others who will never fully recover, there will be lots of sadness in tonights hockey broadcasts as there shoiuld be.
