City remind me so much of Hearts with the way they set up their team game in and out.

A goalie then 10 outfielders.

An utterly horrible football club followed by spoilt arseholes vs Another horrible football club that lacks any kind of a soul.

Meh.

Meh.

While their city rivals were conquering all before them, City still got crowds of 30k in the third tier.

If there's one club and one fanbase which has served it's time and deserves it's place in the sun, it's City.

Good for them. They still follow a club that has lost its soul.

Meh.

And yet you felt you needed to open, read and post in a thread about them.

City could score as many as they want tonight. Arsenal aren't even in the same game.

What game are Arsenal at then?   Nobody told Arsene?

There really is something special about watching Arsenal lose and lose badly. A nothing club that are spoken of like Hibs playing some fantasy amazing football. Although to be fair they have scored some peaches particularly Giroud though who got punted.

Citys third was class.

City do great work in their community and have a committed local support, there's absolutely no good reason to accuse them of that

You have to think it's starting to give way for Wenger. He is destroying his reputation by staying around too long. Surely he will go by the summer

Arsenal have been on a downward spiral since the unbeaten year.

It's speeding up and they're getting progressively worse every year.

Manchester City are as much of a tourist club as their neighbours now.

And I find their desire to start buying other football clubs to rename them to be quite distasteful.

I actively dislike Hibernian, but I'd be ignoring a good 55% of the board if I avoided threads about them.

Those clubs which buy success mean nothing to me.  I almost prefer Hibs.

Would hate to ever see Hearts in that position.

Haven't seen an EPL game since Sky lost the contract around 3 seasons ago and haven't missed it one iota

Success attracts fans, they're not in control of that, but they still make the effort in their community.

Soul-less my arse!

Every club does stuff in its local community.

Not every club tries to erase the identity of other clubs to make money.

Very few clubs do anything like as much as Man City.

As for erasing identity, I assume you mean the Australian team?

Doesn't make them a soul-less club though does it? I'm not a fan either but they can't do anything without agreement.

Every club does do stuff in its community but city do way more than most, which is obvious to even the casual observer who bothers to check.

But whatever, I can live with you thinking they're soul-less, carry on

I can't think of any! I'm no fan, in fact when I lived there I went to OT but never MR, but you have to give them kudos for the respect they show their community.

Melbourne City, New York City FC, Yokohama F. Marinos, Club Atlético Torque and Girona are all owned by the City Football Group.

Also tried to purchase River Ecuador FC and rename them Guayaquil City FC.

They are an embarrassment of a club now.

Absolutely. I saw Jack Wilkshire was captain the other night, he's never captain material in a million years IMO

Richest football club owner in the world Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan gets great local PR by giving impoverished local communities funds! Heartwarming!

They also own Manchester City by the way, so really you have a problem with the owners, not the club.

I'm not saying anything other than city do great work in their community and don't deserve to be called soul-less.

I lived there for years, that club has a soul if any do.

I have a problem with English football in general. However the Manchester City of 2018 is not the same club as the City of 1997.
