Increase of buses up and down the mound then onto chambers st to get back on route. Add to this the cost for repairing the damaged roads in the haymarket area (along with plenty other roads ) thanks to the Scottish water repairs and the latest piece of Oxgangs school falling onto a wee girl , the city fathers (and mothers) should be taking a long hard look at themselves . Indeed. In the grand scheme of things a £22m repair job is trivial. The first major refurb for 80 years. The bridge not that long ago, before the bypass was built took all the traffic from the south and east to the west and north and vice versa. That's why I used the word "IF" . That said the road network in Edinburgh is in the worst condition for many many a year .
