Having made several unsuccessful attempts to quit smoking (one lasting three years!), I'm intent on trying again - and cold turkey doesn't work for me.

Not looking for your suggestions as to what I do (I've tried most things over the years). But I've just come across the following and I'm considering trying it out.

Anyone used this already? Your thoughts if you have?

Have you tried hypnosis mate?

I know a guy who does this and he says he has around an 80% success rate with smokers (I think that's the figure quoted)

I've never smoked, but ex-smokers have said that Champix is the dugs baws, and worked for every one of them (as long as you;re not a physco!)

This inhaler from supersmoker looks expensive compared to the Nicorette inhaler:

I had smoked for about 25 years, I used this inhaler for about 3-4 weeks and it worked a treat, I have not had a cigarette for 3 and a half years.

After about 20 years as a smoker, i've been clean for 3 1/2 months now.

9 weeks of patches done the trick for me.

My mum got one of those off the internet, she smokes about 20 a day. Anyway, she says it was rubbish but then again I don't think she gave it a proper go.
